When I returned to Medium and checked out Pierce McIntyre’s monthly prompt for Plethora of Pop, I was very excited to see that it involved songs about transportation.

As someone who mainly writes about country music, I feel as though I have a cheat code to using this prompt. Since there are so many songs about trains, and trucks, I’m going to force myself to do 10 songs, each with a different mode of transportation, so they don’t all end up being about the same thing.
