A Lyric That Keeps Me Going

Short-form about one of my favorite motivational songs.

I’ve mentioned it before, but I absolutely adore the song, “‘Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson, and have been listening to it quite a bit lately.

There’s one particular lyric in the song that I use to motivate myself when I don’t feel like writing, or doing anything, for that matter:

“If you’ve got a dream, chase it, ’cause a dream won’t chase you back”

This line is just so clever, and couldn’t be more true!

I have been in so many slumps lately, but it seems like every time I play this song, and hear that line, it just drives me to get up and take my day by the reins.

If you need a shot of motivation, give it a listen!
