I love photography, and the visual arts in general. Since I practice photography on the regular, and I’m decent at it, I think I have a pretty good eye for it.

Sometimes I see a photo or piece of art that just stuns me, and I stare at it for way too long, and sometimes those pieces of art are album covers.

So let’s take a look at a few of my absolute favorite album covers!

Also just a little disclaimer, all rights are reserved to the respective owners of these images, and I am using them under fair use.

American Heartbreak by Zach Bryan

I was inspired to write this piece because I couldn’t get over how incredible the cover for Zach Bryan’s newest unreleased album is.

I mean my goodness, is that not beautiful?

The framing is lovely, with the tree coming in from the left, and the post on the right. The foot stepping forward almost lines up with the base of the tree in the distance. Not to mention the contrast of cold and warm tones in the image, and the nostalgic, but tasteful film grain.
